I've only been at this mix for an hour and it was after a full day of ear-ringing band practice...but I think most of the balances are set.

Tell me what you think of everything in general mix-wise. I haven't added so many fancy production special FX yet or much FX and layering to the vocals, so the mix itself is pretty basic right now.

How's everything sit? Do you like the guitar tone? Low end too loud or too quiet at all? Etc. etc. etc.

Sounds good. feels too pumpy though, did you put any limiter onthe master channel? guitars fit good i think, maybe just lower them a db or 2?

Agreed on lowering the guitars. I think if you do that, the other elements will fit even better.

PS, that doesnt sound like Snare 12a, is it Snare 11?

Yeah it's either a combination of 11+5 or 11+17.

and im going to mix this with better ears once i finish up some other projects first. it's pumping like an asss right now
