Oh Lord, that was unbelievable. Note the extreme concentration on the faces of the musicians. Are they reading the music stashed out of sight? Can't blame them for not taking the time to memorize it. And the dancers! I just have nothing to say about THAT! :zombie:

The irony lies within the fact that those bored looking musicians were/are all among the best in the trade and they could ahve learned to play the songs in five minutes without note sheets. Unfortunately back in those days they had to take all the crappy studio gigs offered by the national TV because ther wasn't too much jobs for them and the TV paid well.

But obviously they forget to add a paragraph in their contracts requesting them to look happy and inspired when the cameras were on.
