From The Dark - The Opera Ghost - Awesome dark melodic metal

A new band with an awesome start. Great crystal clear melodic vocalist as well, the guy is just perfect for me. Dark mysterious themes and fast thrashy melodic riffage is the order of the day musically. Sounds a bit like Control Denied mixed with some more older slightly Mercyful Fate/KDish power metally themes. Actually it reminds me a bit of Sanctuary without the psychotics Dane vocals of course and I far prefer this guy who is very understandable and not over doing it with the siren vocals.

Yeah it is. Their name and album name just bring up a bunch of hits, which may be a problem for them in the future. Good stuff though.
