I used the C430's live for the first 5 years of my livemixing career on this local cafe (1999-2004) and this was one of the first recordings I ever did with them, drums have only the C430's and a kick mic because we ran out of tracks on the 8 track recorder. I didn't really like the C430's per se at the time, because without any processing they have this really nasal quality to them to be used as cymbal overheads, but I found that if you cut down the 1-4khz presence from them a bit, it can get quite good sounding, so you might want to test them out a bit before selling them.
But do notice that I was like 16 or 17 when I did that skybird mix and I really didn't know what I was doing at the time, for example there is no compression or reverb on the tracks as I didn't know how to use them and mixing that took like 3 days, compared to this livemix recorded from the main out (thats why the delay and keys are quite oud and guitars quite low on the mix) I mixed when I was like 24 with a shoddy 15 minute soundcheck and I didn't pay any attention how the recording ended up sounding.
