FS: Ampeg VL-502, local pickup only (Brooklyn)

I'm sure people here are familiar with this so i won't go into great detail. It's easily the best head you can get for under $1000. Since i'm in need of the money, i'm willing to let this go for $380! It's in pretty much perfect condition, even cosmetically. and i'll throw in a fresh set of JJ power tubes (kt88's).

I really don't want to deal with shipping this so it's for local pickup only unfortunately. Unless of course you're willing to offer me a substantial amount more for it

Have you compared the sound with other tubes versus the KT88's?

If I had the cash, I would seriously buy every fucking Ampeg VL amp I saw. LOVE THEM.

The only other tubes i tried in them were the stock 6l6's that they came with. The kt88's sound fucking killer. Really deep bass and smooth highs. Great for lower tunings. The clean channel actually sounded really fucking good with them.

Hmmm... i'm having doubts about selling this already!
