Hey guys, I'm doing a big gear unloading, and given all the pics that I have of each of these three things, I'll divide it up into three posts for the sake of organization. So item one is a Crown PCC 160 boundary mic, apparently the industry standard (according to this ebay auction, which of course is a horrible source for unbiased info, but the price is the more important part). I'm selling mine for $200 shipped in the US, and I'll be totally honest - I got it when my parents' church upgraded their stuff (no one knew what the hell it was, but they knew that I was into production, so they just handed a big box of stuff over to me, amongst which was this mic and the compressor in the next post), and because it has a Mini-XLR jack (as you'll see), I can't test it to see if it works - but on the record right here, right now, I'll offer a 100% money back guarantee including shipping if it doesn't work! So be not afraid my children. Here are pics (excuse the wretched cam-phone quality):

Next up is a Soundtech ST200CL linkable stereo hardware compressor. Same deal with the Crown, 100% money back guarantee. Not sure how much I should ask for this, so I'll start it at $80 shipped; it's a hardware comp., after all, and it's made in Japan, not China/Taiwan/etc. (and it's not Behringer :D), so I don't think that's an unreasonable price. And though you probably won't be able to read it in the horrible quality pics, on the back each channel has an XLR input and output, an unbalanced 1/4" input and output, and a "Detector" 1/4" input and output (which I assume is for sidechaining). The front controls should be legible, but if not, each channel has a "Comp in" button, a 5-LED gain reduction meter, an "EXP GATE" pot with an LED over it (not sure what that is), and the usual pots for Threshold, Ratio, Attack, Release, Input, and Output. There's also a "Stereo Link" button.

Last up is my Hafler G150 MosFET power amp, made in the USA. 75 watts per channel at any impedance (power varies slightly with different impedances, but what I mean is it works at 4, 8, or 16 ohms), and 150 watts bridged mono, but only at 8 ohms. This thing sounds fucking great with my Podxt ran through it, but I'm selling it cuz I just wanna suck it up and buy an HD147 for when I don't wanna use my JSX. However, this is definitely the more cost effective solution, and still sounds great! One caveat, however: when you turn it on, it makes a few pops, and causes the speakers excurse through their whole range for a couple of seconds before settling in to a very slight hum in the background as the only evidence it's on. That, combined with a few pops when it's turned off, are the only issues with it, and both can be avoided by turning it on, waiting a couple of seconds, then plugging in the speaker cable, and then removing it before turning it off (it's a solid state power amp, so I don't think this is damaging). $160 shipped!

Hahaha, sorry Mike, I'll never part with those old relics from the 90s! Flip-flops always go flying off my feet when I wear 'em, so velcro is my shit

Every man has a price.

I want those fucking sandals Marcus. You'd better tell me how much if you know what is good for you.

Seriously though I'm half interested in the power amp. It would be nice to use it with my MP-1 or MP-2 instead of going through FX Returns of amps. Even the hardware comp would be cool. But I'm saving for many other things ATM :(

I'll stop derailing your thread now.

Seriously PM me with a price if you want to unload those Nikes though!

Hahahaha, I wouldn't hold your breath Mike, and your derailings are still bumps, so I'll take 'em! Come on, $160 for the power amp and $80 for the comp, that's pocket change for a big playa [sic] such as yourself :D

btw, have you tested how the crown mic works on kick drum? the sennheiser boundary mic does wonders for the attack. Just put it on a towel or somethin else soft on the middle of the bottom of the drum

edit: if the only output is the mini-xlr, I think you can find them on ebay or just go to a guitarcenter or something and take it with you that you need a connector for this

Yeah, I'm advertising the Crown as being like a Beta 91 on my ebay auction (though ebay made me change the title when I said "like Beta 91," tricky bastards, so I just ditched the "like" and now it's fine  :heh: ), which I've also heard is amazing on kicks. Truthfully, though, I don't see myself needing to mic up a kick ANY time soon, so it's not worth me hanging on to, but hopefully someone else can benefit from it! And on that note, I'm now doing $150 shipped for it...
