I'd rather not ship out of the country. The fees, and shipping involved are astronomical, and My experience with shipping things through customs (especially South America) has been a nightmare.

That being said, a general estimate for shipping to Wellington, New Zealand came out to just over $200 US.

I hear you! It is really really bad. My worst shipping experience was from the US to Belgium. It was some cymbals and they sat in customs for months
