hmmm to me the principle is simple.. whatever someone is willing to pay, that is what it's worth. There are no 'rip offs' in this context.

People getting emo about it really have another problem which is their own. They either can't afford it, or don't actually believe it is worth that amount.. which for them is true. (and in which case why get cut up about it if it's not that special to you)
But that's too bad hey... you can't go into maccas and tell them what you're paying for a big mac.
