True, but the amp switching relay on the G Major only works if the footswitch input on your amp is 1/4" (it isn't on my JSX, so that ruled that out) - plus, I didn't wanna take the risk with the reliability problems that I've heard about from the G-Major, and the XPression being able to phantom power a MIDI controller (rather than having to run a power cable to it) definitely kicks ass as well!

Do you by any chance know if the relays on the Behringer FCB1010 are stereo on mono?

Hmm, I had a look at the manual for the FCB1010, and it says "Use these jacks to connect your amplifier for channel selection (mono or stereo phone jack cable)" - kinda hard to tell, but I would assume stereo.
Unfortunately, though, the XPression can't phantom power it because the MIDI jacks are both 5-pin; I was planning on buying a Rocktron MIDI Mate foot controller (which is 7-pin) and then getting an Axess Electronics CFX4 to control the changes on my JSX - a bit pricier, but I didn't have really any other options since my JSX doesn't have a 1/4" switch input, and anyway it seemed like it'd be more useful to have a dedicated switcher unit like the CFX4 instead of relying on something like the G-Major (in case I ever changed amps or upgraded processors, for example)
