Just wondering - What is the stage presence like without a live-drummer? Is it noticable?

im hooking up a band with programmed drums because this part of New Zealand has no drummers upto the standard of material we wanna do! Plus theres alot of other benefits. Total control over the drum sound recorded and live...

Having trouble finding some good tom/hi-hat samples though.. Anyone know where Fuck...Im Dead sampled their drums from?.
