I say that only because Wintersuns guitars are a lot better sounding imo, in terms of interesting solos and riffs and even tone. Wintersuns drumming holds everything together so tightly and the music is just so powerful sounding, I fucking love it! And Jaris vocals kick so much ass on the Wintersun album, they are just raw and metal as fuck. It's mastered so perfectly too, pure greatness!

Wintersun, like Children of Bodom back in the days, is terribly overrated.
Some tunes are actually enjoyable, I've discovered, but "absolute perfection" is taking it too far.

i agree, wintersun are really cool live too but i cant compare them to ensiferum til i see them at bloodstock
