Yeah, my desk is kind of messy... whatevs! Just got in my Level Pilot to go with the Redco order I made last week, this thing works exactly as expected! No stereo image warping on any volume except one low enough to be unusable for anything but comparing to a mouse fart. Stays relatively well put, the taper is smooth as balls, seems durable, and matches all my Apple shit!

4 buttons + combos = 6 buttons of programmability, the scroll ring function is super intuitive and feels great, the ball is HUGE and super accurate/ergonomical/just feels 'right' after using it for a while. I can't go back to non trackballs.

Plus it just stays the fuck put... sure it's got a decent footprint, but it doesn't take up as much as a mousepad. Which you don't need anyways!

Looks nice Jeff. Cant say it would be too beneficial to me though. It seems very pricey too at $100. With my focusrite I have a monitoring level pot as well as a dimming switch and a complete mute switch right at my grasp. Also, havent put too much thought into this but it's not going to work with a sub either is it? I guess its just taylor made for the dudes who sit miles away from their interfaces and cant reach their knobs because of bottles of aveeno being in their way  Forgot you had A7's btw dude, how you finding them?

Congrats, A7 + Level Pilot combo here, too.

Kev, it's an analog device and as such prevents the loss of detail at lower levels, it's also very smooth and big, which makes it comfortable and precise. My interface doesn't have a knob for volume control, btw. It works perfectly fine with my sub. You hook up the interface's outputs to the level pilot's inputs, then the level pilot's outputs to the sub's inputs and the sub's outputs to your monitors.

^^ +1... I have no volume knob on my RME.

Either way, though, paid $60 shipped for it, and it's SUPER handy having it right next to my mouse.

Kev, the A7's are glorious. Can't believe I went so long without them... really loving how much detail and clarity I'm getting!
