Fucking allergies

They've been fuckin me up bad this year. Usually I don't even notice them, but there's something in the air this year that's just wrecking me. Hopefully it goes away as the weather cools off.

Yeah. I don't usually get it bad enough to complain
But I couldn't stop sneezing this morning and now I feel like a sick bastard.

Feel bad for you folks. My lady friend suffers from them big style and seeing up close how they can negatively influence everyday life is a fairly depressing experience.

On the plus side, I suffer from not a single one. I can sleep in freshly cut grass and snort pollen and nothing will happen. Take that.

Talking mostly about Pollenosis here, other allergies aside:

Shit didn't kick in till I was twenty-something. But when it came, it came hard. This year, it's almost been bearable. But the years before, I've been in constant misery for the better part of each year. It's not just Rhinits, or "stuffy nose", but also bronchoconstriction, irritated eyes and skin - for months at a time. You annoy and disgust others with your constant dripping nose and coughing while sleep deprivation will slowly turn you into a miserable piece of shit zombie.

When I was younger, I'll admit, I occasionally made fun of the kids that were plagued with allergies because it's been almost exclusively the kids that were raised in the city. Well, if that's karma, then it's really a bitch.

People who aren't plagued by this crap can't imagine how much this can affect you life's quality, I know first hand now.

I've never had seasonal allergies. But for some damn reason my throat has been swollen off and on since May! I've never experienced this before, anyone else?? I'm scared it could be a food allergy or something. My eyes and nose are really itchy too... I feel like I'm allergic to the world! :(

I also never get 'em horribly, but this year has been absolutely horrible.

I feel ya, man. Last week I had such an allergic episode I was taken to the ER by ambulance! I was barely breathing. I have an appointment to test for allergens a few weeks from now.
Our main suspect is the pomegranate I ate. I usually don't.
