Full song mixed & mastered

Guitars sound better in the most updated one. They just sound very cutting/sharp. A little bit too much so for my taste. I thought the "Boomyness" of the mix was good in the first mix! it had a good thickness in their that this new one I think lacks. Sounds good though. Very clean!

I'm listening to the first post, and I'm just curious, is this amplitube for the guitars?

No, I had to 'reamp' with Metal Amp Room. Don't like to do that but I had no other choice at the moment. But the last clip is way better imo ;)

Very impressive, i will admit that all though I am not so knowledgeable, it sounds amazing, my only gripe is the kick sounds overwhelming but i dont know why as it is a good volume and eq sounds nice.

good shit, n good song too

The drums are programmed and the kick always sound mechanical even with some variations. Thanks for the feedback.

This sounds good, although the vocals could do with a bit more low end. Try boosting in the 150-200 hz area. Also, you could try a little boost in the 4.5-5k range for some clarity of the words.
Or, instead of these methods for bringing the vocals more up front, you could try using a shorter reverb, or maybe just a touch of a long and bright plate reverb coupled with a lo-fi delay in the background. At the moment, listening with headphones, it seems like the drums overpower the vocals.
You could also try a very slight dip at 4.5-5k on the OH, with a "tight as a virgin" Q, maybe that could do the trick.
BTW, i really like the singer. Sounds a LOT like Klaus Meine :yow:. The song is very very cool too. I don't suppose you're gonna post some raw file goodness for us, will you?:)

Thanks man. Your comments are straight to the point. Yea, I was tweaking and tweaking the vocals for low end, idem for OH in the 4-5kHz. But after hours, I was not objective. As for the loud drums... This confirms my feelings.

About raw tracks, not now as it's not released yet but maybe later... maybe :)

Sounds pretty fucking badass, I agree that the vox need a bit more bass to them. Besides that it sounds great. What did you use for the bass? It's awesome

Thanks guys, glad you like it! tbh, I'm still not 100% happy with it...
As for the bass, it's DI + PSA1 and it was a shit load of painful work to get a decent sound! It seems it's the best result I can get. I added some low end in the vox and slightly tamed some 4-5kHz in the OH. I also mixed down kick and snare (-1db). Will post the result today...

i think its great, sounds like it needs more overheads in the chorus. just seemed kinda lifeless

I think is lifeless due loudness war. Too much power before and after chorus lead to this feeling. And leads to fatigue.
Other than that mix is awesome... Great low end.
But I hated the vocalist technic.

Thanks for your analysis and listening to it again your "Too much power before and after chorus" makes sens. Absolutely don't know how to fix that tho! To me it sounds like the song is written like that. The singer is awesome but, yeah, it's really about to taste.
