What does everyone think of Technical Ecstasy, Never Say Die and Born Again? I really like the songs I've heard from all three but am still a bit iffy about buying them. I have a reputation for liking some of the least popular albums by any given band, so I'm more concerned about the overproduction than the quality of the material itself.

I also don't have Live Evil, though I once owned it for about a week before concluding that it was one of the worst live albums ever recorded. It makes A Real Dead One look like Alive In Athens .

I cant help, but I just want to say The Headless Cross is f**king awesome!

Technical Ecstacy is one of my favorite Sabbath albums... Probably my fave from the Ozzy era. Very underrated I think. There are some top songs on there, with Dirty Women being the best in my onion.

Never say Did is simialar to Tech Ects, but not as good I dont think. Similar sound and general vibe, but Technical Ecstacy sounds more original.

Born Again is really heavy on the production side. Very bassy. Has some good songs, but I dont think Ian Gillan was right for sabbath. If you like it heavier, than this is a good album. Zero the Hero, Digital Bitch and especially Trashed are all awesome songs. Trashed is a real rocker!

Indeed! !:headbang:

I'm also quite a big fan of The Eternal Idol and Forbidden, two other Martin era Sabbath albums that no-one seems to like much. Their loss.

I love every Tony Martin album actually. Forbidden suffered from crap production, but i love some of the songs on it - in particular Can't get close enough.

Tony Martin's new stuff is great too, the new Cage album kicks ass.
