Here's a tune I did recently, just the drums, bass, and rhythm gtr tracks http://forum.bandamp.com/Audio_Review/5191.html I am the ultimate noob, so ANY advice as far as the general mix, and the guitar tone, would be highly appreciated!!! and let me say I'm really glad to find this forum, you guys rock. peace - r.

Oh yeah, I'm searching for a metal vocalist to collab with, if this tune sounds like a style you can dig, let me know.

SORRY - LINK BROKEN. As per jhakwe's advice, I deleted the post on bandamp, so I could re-eq a bit and the upload it again. Well, bandamp's server will not accept the upload, even if the filename was changed, etc, such are the pitfalls of bandamp. Anyone have a recommendation for a decent song hosting server?

OK, here's one that works,.. sorry if it's a bunch of popups, etc, it was just a quick find - http://www.supload.com/listen?s=S82S9cvM2_9

and thx for advice, jhakwe,.. you were certainly right ;)

I had a real quick listen (can't get into it any better, working on a website atm :/), and the topmost thing that bugged me was the fact that the bass is way too loud, leaving the guitars too much in the background. Generally I thin there's too much low end in the mix.

Not bad though, that'll sound quite good with some work! :)
