We wanted to give everyone an update on the happenings surrounding the ROYAL ANGUISH camp. First and foremost, the recording process for our upcoming CD The Grand Deception is moving forward full steam. As many of your know, the original production of this CD saw recording start last summer (2007). Unfortunately the recordings were not coming along as anticipated, so we made the decision to blow the whole thing up and start from scratch once we had resolved the issues that had hindered the original sessions.
After reassessing our processes and songwriting, we "restarted" the process in December of 2007 with a new outlook, and we are happy to report that we have a large portion of the process complete. We are deep into the guitar and keyboard tracking and hope to have a few advance / rough versions up on the web for all to hear in the not too distant future. We are much happier with the path the CD has taken and we are very eager to get new tracks out to the masses so that we can officially start the newest chapter of RA's existence.
The CD currently is slated to have 11 songs (plus an opening). The song titles are as follows:
