kinda bothers me that 35 people have seen this and had nothing to say...

Not really sure what to say. Sounds decent for the most part. Something seems slightly off with the main rhythm guitar tone. A little lifeless sounding when the parts in the higher register are not accompanying it.

When the higher parts are with it the whole thing seems to balance out fairly nicely. Snare cuts through a little much in a couple places on repeated listenings. I am an amateur though, so take everything with a grain of salt.

What issues do you have with it in your mind/ears?

snare is too loud. rhythm tone sucks haha. im with you man. is the click too much on the kick?

I wouldn't say that the rhythm tone sucks, just needs some more attention and tweaking.

Yeah, the kick is a little clicky. I would adjust it ever so gradually, no drastic steps.

Snare would be slight adjustments until it is right for the most part, then automated with a volume envelope so it is almost perfect.

I certainly wouldn't get down on yourself about this mix as a starting point. Has plenty of potential to be made into what you want it to be.

Again, I am an amateur so don't take anything that I say as anything more than trying to be helpful with constructive criticism.

Slate kick and snare?
Generic, but had some really nice melodies and cool mix. Sounds balanced andd ready for the disc. Keep working man!
