i´m considering buying one but i don´t want to pay it and send it back afterwards when i don´t like it.

Last year, I ordered mine on a sunday, got mail from the nice lady at g66 at sunday night, they sent it with express delivery, got it monday night. And I ate the whole box of chocolate.

g66 are supernice people, just order one and send it back if you dont like it.
the axefx is a hell of a unit, youll need at least half a year to get the sound you want....

I ended up shipping my unit from the USA because i was told g66 wouldnt have anything in untill late april /early may.

it is THE SINGLE BEST purchase i have made in the last 2-3 years.

I will add that buying the redwire IR's are a must if you want to get an 'open' high gain guitar tone rather than the claustrophobic ir's the axe fx comes with.

Just got my Axe Fx Std one week ago. Took contact with G66 12 weeks ago. Container was supposed to arrive end of april. But they proposed me an expo Axe Fx with the latest 10.4 firmware, a quieter cooling system they installed themselves and a 2 year garantee for a (very slightly) lower price. U bet I bought it. Next delivery should be around june! But there are loads of concurrential devices for a lower price now. I suspect the Axe Fx sales to be on the wave due to the big buzz around it amongst the metal world. Line 6 or Eleven rack do a pretty decent job as well I heard. Might want to check those as well? Although I can understand Line6 might feel a bit like the Berhinger of the digital amps simulation.

hmmm....this profiling amp looks pretty interesting for studio work.....thanks for posting!

but i´m still interested in the axe-fx especially for its effects. plus i need a 19" rack version for playing live. if anybody in germany has one in lower saxony feel free to contact me.
i don´t want to buy something (waiting for weeks/months) and finally not liking it and having to sent it back.
