Well you can't beat Scaramanga. One of the screen's best villains. My buddy has a theory that the third nipple is some how responsible for his pin-point accurate shooting skills :D

Damn. Lee is an idol of mine. I'm a Hammer nut, so those Dracula pictures are very near and dear to my heart.
I get mostly horror related autographs at the Rock and Shock convention we get her in New England every Fall.
One of my favorite pieces in the collection is a reprint of the infamous Day of the Dead newspaper signed by Romero alumni:

I frequent MonsterMania and Horrorfind. Lee is the last original that we have... I hope that one of these conventions some day will swallow their pride and pay his crazy asking fee (It was around $100k to come to the States the last time I heard).

Jesus Christ! Yeah, it's fairly likely I'll never meet him if that's the case. Our small-time stuff in New England could never afford that I imagine...although the guy will likely live to be 180, so I have plenty of time to try.

Can't wait for that new Hammer picture coming out with him. I love how the company has been defunct for nearly 40 years, and he's still around to help revive it. I never thought I'd get to say that "I'm going to go see the new Hammer film with Christopher Lee in it". Brings a tear to my eye.

The original owned the remake. In fact it's a classic example of a remake making no sense whatsoever.
Absolutely. What is it with American film studios and remakes? I mean, they turn an awesome movie like [REC] into a piece of shit like Quarantine, just because they think they can do a better job. I think it's strange that they haven't announced a remake of Let The Right One In yet. They'd probably turn the protagonists into high-school students and make the vampires sparkle when they- ... well, you know.

It's not that remakes don't work. Hollywood in essence is built upon pilfering ideas from other sources and turning them into movies. It's just that from an artistic point of view the modern "remake" is anathema because it's primarily a money making exercise. Even the recent Funny Games, which had the original director involved, felt a little pointless.

i could be wrong, but since you made a twilight type joke its possible you are in fact unaware of this?
