Well, technically speaking, yes. With the extended thumb, he's saying "I love you" in sign language. I often will do that, then turn my hand around and hold the thumb down to imply "love metal"...Although if you were deaf, you'd actually think I was implying to "love bullshit"...hm...

If he had the middle and index fingers crossed, he'd be implying "love very much", which to me is pretty metal...
