global tempo changes in reaper

maybe it's a stupid question, but nevertheless:

is there any way to globally shift all your tempo changes back or forth in reaper?

let's say you want to take out a section in the middle of the song. with audio only it's obviously just a simple matter of cutting and shifting the later tracks forward. however, i have not found a way to globally shift all the tempo changes to match the audio. seems like you can only drag them around one at a time.
maybe i'm just missing something here?

This is possible, I'm replying from my phone so I'll confirm when I get to work but as I recall you just highlight that section in the time line, right click the ruler at the top and select the appropriate option? I'll let you guys know exactly what to do in a couple hours.

Highlight a section, right click on ruler at the top and hit "Remove contents of selection (moving later items)"
