With all this hype surrounding this new album, how well do you think it'll actually do? I have a feeling this album is gonna tank...less than 250K first week.

I remain indifferent and lacking in curiosity when it comes to this album. I've just added it to a list of things I know will be around and available for quite some time and can easily be ignored until I deem it convenient...

A source told Britain's The Sun: “People have been trying to contact Axl for two months and he's completely AWOL. It is frustrating because the album would have had a much better chance of going to number one if he had only been prepared to show his face. You would have thought after spending all those years on an album you might do a few weeks of promotion. Everyone knows Axl is a bit of a maverick genius and won't do anything he doesn't want to.”
It has been claimed Rose's disappearance could be due to him entering into secret talks to reform the classic line-up of the band.

A "Maverick genius"? You gotta be freakin kidding me!! More like a primadonna who thinks his s%@t doesn't stink....I've always hated axl.....didn't really care for GnR either.....back then there was WAAAAY better metal to listen to so I didn't waste my time with the whole "hair metal" scene. Sad to see the bands I liked back then, and STILL like today, are all being clumped into that category now

Axl fascinates me....the guy obviously has some mental issues.....honestly I'm not entirely sure if Axl really realizes how big he is or how important GNR is to music...
