I feel for you, Uladyne. Last summer here in Melbourne it got up to 116 in the shade and humid on top of it. Nowhere was safe unless you were neck deep in the ocean. That was about the time you might have heard about those nasty bushfires here.

I lucked out to get to visit during the 07 heat wave in august opening a warehouse without AC fully installed. It rained for a half hour when I arrived and the streets cleared like it was a foot of snow. The only thing scarier than the heat is the driving on the interstate. It makes NJ yuppies on i95 look like saints from the defensive driving school.

Its winter here, Lasse. On average its been around 15*C lately. Hardly cold compared to a German winter (I could have sworn I read somewhere you're german). Spring weather is usually quite nice here as well but that wont start for a while, yet. Apparently its summer year-round in Queensland.
