Going for the BMTH sound...

Sounds great, I like the snare a lot. It has a bit too much low mid going on for the bmth sounds, but it does sound amazingly good.

Yeah man id say scoop the low mid a bit then boost a little at around 1600Hz but i'm a n00b at this haha anyone feel free to correct me.:Smokin:

It's in the sample sticky thread.

And my S2.0 won't be of much use as no processing is done inside it, i've only routed all the outputs out (and by all, i mean all, those near/mid/far ambience mics sure are killer)

agree you've got a good sounding snare! what processing have you done on it?

yea, the new new bmth album is very scooped.. i'm not good enough to just say what freq's need scooped, i just of do it by ear!

the song is pretty good too, and this is the best soloc sound i've heard!

thanks,

A great piece of music and great sounding tones. I think the drums sound huge!

Good work. I can't comment on whether or not it sounds like BMTH because I've never heard their stuff.

The guitars sound a little synthetic. Did you use the awesometime impulses on all the tracks? I would divvy it up.

Yeah, it's mastered too hot.

the guitar chain would be

ltd ec-1000 w/ emg 81 -> TSS -> SoloC -> SIR(awesometime impulses) -> Q4 -> C4 -> Deeser

SoloC is Bass:7 Mid:5 Treble:5 nothing to fancy, the sound comes mainly from the impulses
