If I'm not back posting within 7 minutes, can someone please call 911 for Bergen Cty, New Jersey?

Tell them there is a frozen dead body on a 3rd-floor balcony at The Pierre Apartments on Prospect Ave in Hackensack.

Thanks!

It was 78 here today.
That's what I've got my thermostat set to. :erk:

I'm tired of freezing cold weather. Where can I live in the US where it's nice and sunny all year round, without fear of earthquakes, floods, or tornados, or really expensive real estate? Easy access to a major airport is a plus.

Arizona, and some parts of Nevada.

I want to move to Arizona, it's more practical than Canada.

Bah.

Every place that's not within 25 miles of NYC sucks.

No, Phoenix is pretty much off the list, I don't want to deal with another big big city. I'm casually looking into Flagstaff (not small, but not huge either) and surrounding areas though.

Sedona would be great, but I don't have $500k sitting around to buy a 1,200 sq. ft. house. :loco:

Damn, I guess Arizona is another expensive state then? It's definitely rising in popularity for people to move there, and so the cost would go up then I imagine. Just look at what happened to Atlanta. Five years ago you could buy a four bedroom, two bathroom, and an outdoor pool for $200k. Now, it would be double that.

Actually Ali, Atlanta is still way cheap. Seriously, even "expensive" cities like Chicago & Seattle pale in comparison to what you're used to.

Hmmm... haven't been to Tempe, 1000s of hot blondes is tempting though.

I drove through Prescott, Jerome, Sedona, Cottonwood, Flagstaff, etc. and just fell in love with the whole area. Camped in Mingus mountains, and didn't realize I was at 7,500+ elevation until I left the next day and drove by one of the signs. It wasn't even that cold up there! This was in October , too.

Basic outline of my trip, beginning in the southwest.

Sedona is ridiculously expensive, but there's kind of a reason for that. It is breathtaking there. I don't think the rest of Arizona is like that though, but I'm not sure.

Nevada is where to move on the cheap. My parents are considering it, you can get these 5+ bedroom houses for well under $200k still. Even in Riverside $200k gets you a small house in a shit location.

I wanna move to Canada. Less murders, realistic cost-of-living, and universal healthcare, which is something the US gov't refuses to even consider. Of corse, it gets cold as hell up there.

Ali, Austin is always a good choice. Ask Josh, he lived there. Beautiful city, tons of hot women. The cost of livig may be a bit more than Houston, but it's way less than NYC. $7 for a Whopper, fucking ludicrous.

You can always come live in The Woodlands, hahaha.

Just follow Roger Clemens' fine example.

Flagstaff is actually cold in the winter. They have snow there, NAD. Have you ever seen snow?

They actually bought fake snow to San Luis Obispo, CA for the kiddies to see. That's the funniest thing I've ever heard!

It was around 70 here yesterday.

Shit yeah I've seen snow! I grew up in the desert, where yes, every few years, it snows there. Also San Jacinto and Big Bear are within a 45 minute from me, and they get snow all winter. It snowed for 5 minutes two years ago in Riverside, first time in over 20 years I heard. SLO is one place in California I would move to, pretty expensive though.

Roger Clemens can drop dead. I knew I didn't like fucking Texans.
