Yeah seen em live a few weeks ago, From what i remember it was bad ass LOL, I know they where using EVH 5150 III's and they sounded pissed.

Of course, I'm not actually surprised since I've seen them live myself and I always knew they were killer musicians but.... no fuck that, they STILL surprise me :O

Garorock is an eclectic festival just near where I was studying last year. It causes pb to me because I was co-organizing a little student festival in the city (Bordeaux) and this was programmed the same day as ours lol

Hmm I would love to be able to see/hear the same stuff in gojira that everyone else raving about them do.
Guess I should really listen to one of their albums, but for now the small bits of random youtube videos I have heard seems kinda meh :s.

Beautiful seeing Metallica and Gojira together in that vid. If Met should pass on the "metal-torch" to anyone it should be Gojira imo. Their brutality, stage-presence and musical "hunger" remind me a lot of Metallica in the late 80's. Metal is in safe hands

Fucking awesome.

Yeah, Joe is losing his voice toward the end. Easy to understand, with that raspy vocal style he uses. Seems to me it would be harder on the throat than a straight up death growl.

Those of you who don't "get" Gojira, I feel sorry for you. They are the baddest heavy band on the planet at this point in time, IMO of course.

Mario Duplantier is the MF'ing man. He makes Gojira's whole sound, as awesome as Joe D. and the rest of the band are.

So it only took me 8 months to reply. Big deal. Better late than never, especially when it comes to Gojira.
