Good bands I recorded this year

Hi everyone,

I just wanna make my dudes know two bands I recorded at the Hiroshima studio in 2011.

The first one, PAVILLON ROUGE, play what I call "Black Wave", a mixture of new wave, electronic music and black metal. I found their work remarkable and really original, and I think they deserve a good exposure, because they are talented.




The second one is called BROKEN MIRRORS. Their music is a bit less mad but I think they write catchy and interesting songs. They're really good at playing that kind of extreme/melodic metal.
I tracked every instruments (real drums), did the mixing process. The mastering has been done by the well-known-here and very talented sneapster Jarkko, at the Tainted studio. Awesome job in my opinion.

Without saying all the advices and tips I read on that forum helped me a lot, especially the "recording real drums" thread (for Broken Mirrors, as PR's drums are all electronic stuff).

Good job on the Pavillon Rouge stuff, too! It's cool to hear something really different from you after getting so used to the mix on The Universal Disease
