only 360p :/

I have the album and i believe its produced pretty damn well. Its produced by Jason Suecof (Devin Townsend helped out as well) whom has also produced: Black dahlia murder, White chapel, chimairia, devildriver, etc.

The drums are powerful and the guitars leads blend in perfectly.

But yea i just wanted to share that with you guys so hopefully it will help with referencing your mixes.

*edit* sorry i meant Tue Madsen did messengers but Jason Suecof did their latest album to date Constellations.

^ ha he gets mad :D

ya the production was abit much but it was done in a barn

but i geuss it really shows as long as your awesome your music will shine through!

I'm gonna jump on the bandwagon here and you've got the right band, wrong album. I can't even listen to messengers anymore since I've learned what overcompression sounds like :p
constellations on the other hand is fantastic :)

but truth of a liar!!! back burner up against the ropes the list goes on there great songs! i feel like you gotta look past the silly compresson haha :p

I don't think you can suggest a song for other people to use as a reference. It's all about what you think sounds great personally and what the band likes too.

cymbals make my ears bleed and there seems to be no bass at all,
guess that's why it sounds so tidied up and clean.

I'm gonna say it
I actually LOVE the way messengers sounds.
Obviously, constellations is a gorgeous sounding album, but I love the messengers sound. Especially the cymbals. Very agressive.
Messengers just sounds a lot heavier on everything I listen to it on.

jimwillbourne im gonna have to agree w/ you i love the cymbals too they're br00tal they pump me up very aggressive. But now that i compare constellations is produced better but i still enjoy the sound on messengers.

yeah.
don't get me wrong, Constellations is amazing. I'm just saying that there's nothing wrong with Messengers. it's a very unique sounding album imo.

Anyone have any details about the guitars on Constellations?
