good stuff in your life!

Precisely.
I love the place.
There used to be one on Amsterdam ave, or something like that.
I've never been there, and that one closed down apparently. I think the one in the upper east side closed down as well.

I hope the one in the village does good business.

Oh very cool. Are you vegan or raw? I have been vegan and am transitioning to full wonderful rawnesssssss. Yeah the one on Amsterdam avenue closed. The one on east tenth street is doing very well, it's always packed. I love the place next door to as well, the Live Live place, mmm!

I'm not vegan or raw.
I just tend to eat a lot of raw (and vegan) foods, since I really enjoy it. I do eat meat and poultry somewhat often, and I eat fish all the time.

Raw foods are definitely much healthier though, you feel really rejuvinated, and Quintessence is an awesome restaurant. Really wonderful dishes, and their shakes are amazing. I love that very flavorful, vibrant, fresh taste.

Not a whole lot of good things going on for me at the moment but I will say what is good.

My cat, Xena. The sweetest kitty that ever lived! I am also my cats slave.

My man, Alex. We rarely argue, we like the same things, and we are going to have our 8 year anniversary this December. It's kind of like humping your best friend  He's the best.

My best friend Ham-bone (AKA Amy) She's weird but she's mine lmao! We are the goof ball sisters, it's always wonderful, insane retardation when ever we are together.

Drawing, I'm finally getting out of my rut. It was a big one too. Just doodling at the moment trying to find the next idea.

Halloween! I'm going to make a pumpkin pie, a Hot milk cake, and give candy to the rodents that show up at my door :)

Yeah I think it's wonderful about that place, that people who aren't even 100% raw or vegan, or vegetarian at all, can go there and actually enjoy the food. I feel so much better when I am not eating any cooked or processed food. I've lost a ton of weight as well, just by going about 70% raw. It's goodness. Now I am looking forward to Friday even more... oh scallion "cream cheese" nori rolls... haha

You should post in the lunch thread. I wanna hear about some of this stuff!

Those are awesome.
One of my favorite things to get is the "pasta", the burrito, and a non-chocolate shake.
Do you usually get their drinks? They have some really amazing shakes and smoothies.

i have jägermeister. that makes it a good day for me no matter what

Actually, Scott (he's my nukkah and my main fool) has been raw for like 7 years so we usually go together. And we oddly enough just usually eat the food... and go to Pure Food and Wine for shakes and stuff like that, they're terribly overpriced as most of that shit is, but very good. I think I've had the "chocolate" shake from Q's, I love their apple cider. I will definitely have to get me some of those shakes Friday!

I shall post in the lunch thread, I'll photodocument my lovely lunch with my lovely.

You should try a coconut shake, a carob shake, and/or a lemonade shake.
Really, all of them are incredible. They're unlike any other smoothie or shake I have ever had before. You can almost bite into them, they're so fresh, you can pretty much taste all the nutrients and they really pep you up

Good thread!

Had a good day today. We're wrapping up the Skylab album process and it should be ready in the next month or so.

A few buddies of mine in an alternative heavy rock band want me to be their singer and play a bunch of shows. They're really good musicians and good friends, and it's precisely the band I've been looking to sing for. The guitarist is a sound engineer for concerts all across Europe and produces/engineers bands around here in local studios as well, so I know I'm in good hands.

Not a bad day.

I feel like I've had the coconut shake... I had some coconut shake that Scott bought home for me along with the usual dinner food, so... it most likely did come from there. HMM. It was delicious. Was it darker? Or white?
