Are they for me? I've only heard a few of their mp3's, but they seem pretty good. I guess they are kind of like Marduk. I really liked that thing they did with the ladies (and dudes I think) getting crucified on stage. It kind of turned me on.

Would I like them or not?

Hardly "a lot more", but they're on Nuclear Blast now, so I guess you'll get more street cred if you listen to some of the Ukrainian or Polish suparrrrr underground bands instead

Gorgoroth's three first full lengths are mandatory black metal releases. Extremely raw and hateful, with the typical Norwegian feel to it. Get "Pentagram", "Antichrist" and "Under The Sign Of Hell".

I' not saying they outright suck a schlong. THere are certainly far worse bands out there, but there are also better ones. I just see Nate playing this a few times, and then never throwing it on again. That's all.

Still, "Noltem" should put music to that fine piece of poetry. It could be ATMOSPHERIC. ALMOST LIKE SACRAMENTUM ("FAR AWAY FROM THE SUN" ERA) meets DRUDKH ("FORGOTTEN LEGENDS" ERA) meets ILDJARN ("HARDANGERVIDDA" era) meets TROLLMANN AV ILDTOPPEBERG ("FOREST OF DOOM" era).

I'm the odd one in that I liked Incipit Satan, but found the first three to be the same rehashed boring kvlt black metal tripe.
