hey guys,
inspired by this thread I grabbed my old Marshall JTM-600 head and ran the DI's through it. It's definitely not a metal amp, more like blues/rock or something, but it's an all tube head and you never know.. :heh:

Here's the result of my short test: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2764370/jtm-600.mp3
the chain was: RME Mutliface -> ProRMP -> MXR GT-OD -> amp -> PDI03 -> Multiface -> Boogex with Redwire Impulses

I found it to be a little bit muddy and it's far from having a tight low end like a 5150.
What do you guys think? And what do I do with it? Sell it, keep it, tweak it?

U probably cut off a lot of the high frequencies? Marshall...I don't like their lack of attack and their dirty treble.
It definitely doesn't sound bad, but it can be so much better with different amps, I'd sell it.
(I want to get rid of my tsl 100 :))
