Well, this will be my second and third time seeing them. Damn I cannot wait. We also have Joe Satriani next week, Alice Cooper in June, and several others of note that are almost certain but yet to confirm.

What I'm wondering though is this. For you guys in The US and EU for example, how do you manage with all the shows that you wanna see? I'm pretty broke from this at the moment, and will be for a few weeks, which will mean I can't add to my recordings I started the other week for a little bit, but you guys must get this all the time?

I met a dude at the ticket sales place yesterday I had been talking with online for a while, and he said that one week he had 5 decent concerts to attend. Mad!! It would be a fulltime thing if I lived there I'm sure!!

Anyway, kinda wanted to share regarding the Deth Tix, but am extremely curious about that as well. Must be HEAVEN for live shows there?

well, I really wanna see Megadeth. So they better swing around here, if it is, infact their last tour...

I seen Joe Satriani over the summer, and he was awsome...He was with Deep Purple and thin Lizzy, and the tickets were 50 bucks...Thats steep, but it was worth it....

I'm going to Zakk wylde in 3 weeks, but the tickets are only 18 bucks.....so...

not all concerts are a lot of money, but some overcharge so much....Question, how much are the Deth tickets?

Megadeth just played fucking oslo where i live, but you had be 18 because they served fucking beer there... fuck!!!

I wouldnt look down on Megadeth simply because it isnt the same line up as last time. Hell, if we did that, Death wouldn't look too good, even though all of them are quality players. Same goes for Megadeth. They're quality players.

I didn't have a chance to see them this time around, but maybe if they stick together, I'll see them at another point.

Justin - Megadeth tix are quite reasonably priced. $67 (AU), which is bugger all really for an established international. Is pretty standard price for us to pay like $90 - $100 (AU) for most internationals.

Btw, that Joe Satriani / Thin Lizzy / Deep Purple show wasn't the one where Bumblefoot jammed with Joe was it??? Jealous as if ya seen that one :P

Oh and regarding Megadeth, Dave has been hinting that it may not be the end afterall. Sounds like he's having so much fun with these guys and is considering keeping the band name (apparently he was gonna use these guys for the solo band anyway).

Yea, but Death was all chuck schuldiner, megadeth is not all mustaine, he needs guys like dave ellefson, marty friedman and nick menza, im not a big fan of chris poland or marty friedman, but lets be honest, those guys are established, as opposed to glen drover who i havent heard do much.

Very sorry to hear that Dan :(

Is the same situation here for the Australian Shows, which is a real pity, cause there seem to be more underage fans in Australia than overage ones on the Megadeth Forum.

no, I wasn't to that one...I was kinda disappointed that Satch's set wasn't that long, and Deep Purples was over 2hrs long...But, I guess they were headlineing...

I wonder who the 5-6 bands Megadeth is taking on tour over the summer, Dave keeps talking about it, but won't reveal who they are..

Yeah I guess you'll get that with the headliner. Did Joe jam with Purple??

With the 5 - 6 bands, no confirmation yet like ya say, but it looks real possible that Dream Theater may be one of them which would not suck!! :kickass:
