Why do they dress like they do? Are they *really* into metal? Do they decide to like only metal guys? Are they dark-minded?
I read a personall add where this chick wrote something like "I'm into reading, black metal, visiting graveyards..." Why visiting graveyards? Is that cool/metal?
What make-up do they use? What do their friends think of them? Do they like nails?

Let me try and answer ur questions. I know several goth girls, some elitest "cool" goths and others nice ones Some dress like they do cos they think it makes them individual (unlike the rest of the goths in the world ) Some because they think it shows they've had a hrad life (which the majority haven't), some cos they just thinks its cool or they want attention.
If they're elitist goths, no metal is not they're style. They only listen if its hardcore techno, industrial, ebm or bahaus/cure/siouxie.
As long as they're not the elitist type they like non metalheads as well.
Most aren't dark minded. If they are they usually aren't goths.
Visiting garveyards is oh so gothic and very cool
Their friends either like them or want to be like them. And nails are cool. There u go, a guide to the gothic female.
(Disclaimer: please excuse all the drastic generalisations in the post above, I have formed these views over a length of time and despite exceptions find they are usually true Wow, I'm being PC 2day )

Well I think most goth girls are cute, regardless of weather they listen to COF or the Cure.
As long as they wear good stuff...not just a black slayer t-shirt and shitty white make-up.

Yeah, I'm with godisanatheist on this one. Who cares if the girl's a stunner if she's a wannabe intellectual with a superiority complex and a disdain for anyone not quite as much of a 'tortured genius' as themselves? Give me a nice, stable, happy-go-lucky punk chick any day of the week...
