great new talent...

Sounds very solid indeed !! Hope they grab attention of lots of the same age kids. We need them to pass the flame on !!

If they stay true to their sound they have easily 40 years carreer in front of them, imagine that!

Don't get me wrong, they're good but they sound kind of generic. This isn't always a bad thing & it doesn't warrant bad songwriting because a lot of bands are generic, however in this case it just means they're nothing special at this time. They also have a dated sound that will appeal to Trivium style fans along the road. If they're diligent they might be able to cash in, but that's all I can see from this video.

No big deal though - my entire assumption is based off my first impression of a video so it doesn't mean anything too special.

Well, I guess they do not sound "special" at all indeed, rather simple forward Heavy Metal. But I think now and than we need more of this stuff. Although I love complicated Progressive Metal I sometimes am delighted to hear some fresh basic Heavy Metal. These guys play it a good way I think, so if they stick to this sound I'm sure they will gather quit some fans!

Well, they're tight as hell live. Vocally they're nothing special, but the rest of the music is damn solid. Awesome dual guitar solos that aren't a 20 minute shred-fest and they actually write SONGS.

From the originals they played live, this album looks promising!

I am really starting to see young kids getting into classic rock and metal a lot in the past year or two. There are several kids at the high school I work at that walk around with classic rock and metal shirts all the time. Every once in awhile I quiz them to see if they are trying to be ironic or if they are really fans of the music. I have yet to run across a kid that couldn't name what is favorite Iron Maiden, Queen, Judas Priest, Ramones, Misfits, Slayer, or Black Sabbath song was.

I think it is great that band's like this are starting to come out. I have spun Black Stone Cherry more times then I can count. Black Tide sounds like they have some promise as well. Now if only I could get that kid Chris from work to post some of his tunes. This kid was truly Born Too Late!
