Great zombie movies that aren't so well known

Not a typical zombie movie, but have you seen Serpent and the Rainbow with Bill Pullman? I thought it was okay, not great, but good.

And again, not typical zombiefare, but I'm a big fan of the short movie Joe Dante did for Masters of horror on Showtime called Homecoming.

A good zombie'ish book is Berserk by Tim Lebbon

I also dig Masters of Horror...I really liked the zombie one by Clive Barker with them coming back to fuck the chick and impregnate her with a zombie baby. That was cool.

I wholeheartedly disagree with Quarantine. Only because I knew the ending waaaaaaaaay before it happened. they showed the fucking ending IN the preview for godsakes! It had potential, but especially when they went nightvision with the camera, I knew exactly what was going to happen. That being said, the first part of Quarantine with all the firefighters in the firehall is pretty funny. I assume REC is way better though.
