Hello everyone, my name is Jake. I am 23 years old and live in St. Paul, Minnesota. My interests include death, thrash, prog, post-hardcore/ambient, and beginning to flirt with some black and doom. As for myself, I ended up breaking my neck about five years ago resulting in my quadriplegia, hence my name and avatar. While I have been into metal for nearly 10 years, it has only been in the last two years where I have been seriously exploring new bands and genres. I stumbled across these forums while searching for CD reviews and hope to one day find a gig reviewing CDs myself. In the meantime, I will enjoy meeting many of you and increasing my knowledge base.
