Hello everyone. I've been into Opeth for a few years now (began with Orchid-->Still Life-->BWP-->MAYH-->aside from "Black Rose Immortal", have yet to hear Morningrise) yet have not been interactive on any forums and such.
So, here marks my new beginning.
Favorite songs: The Drapery Falls, Face Of Melinda, White Cluster, Harvest, Bleak, Epilogue, In Mist She Was Standing...
By a pleasant twist of fate, I was able to see them play with Nevermore and Angel Dust in Hollywood, CA last year. Certainly one of the most musically enlightening moments of my life. Hearing how effortlessly and eloquently the band performed assured me that Akerfeldt and Co. are diamonds in the (seemingly endless) rough.
