Greg Allard- RIP

I thought I recognized the name, I bought a ticket from Greg last year; just met him briefly but seemed like a really nice guy, very sorry to hear this awful news. Condolences to family and friends.

Man, that is terrible news! Very sad indeed! :-(

I don't recognize him either, but reading that message from his business partner was absolutely heartbreaking. My condolences to his friends and family.

I'm glad that he did have one hell of an awesome final weekend though!

My condolences to His family, we have lost a family member, and even if we didn't know him that well it still hurts in our heart. But at least Heaven has a new angel and he will be watching ProgPower XI from the best seats in the house.

I'm so sorry to hear this. The irony is Prog Power is truly a heaven for us fans of this music! I'm sure he was elated with an amazing memory before his passing, I hope is was painless! Rest In Peace to our Metal brother!

Something you never want to hear specially coming back from PPUSA. Condolences and prayers go out to his family and friends..

I did not know Greg, but I do want to pass along my sympathies to his family & friends. He was killed on his way home from the festival this year.

This is absolutely horrible!

I don't recall speaking with Greg, but I do remember seeing him around the venue.

Not only a brother in metal, but a fellow software engineer as well. My sincere condolences to all his family and friends, including his business partner in that blog (I've posted a comment to that blog).

I've always been afraid that something like this may happen - hell, I am often afraid that somebody is going to get run over there at the damn venue trying to cross that street there, with the way some of those drivers go racing up that road.

Please people, do be careful when you travel to these shows. Hell, I damn near lost my own life in an accident coming home from a Jaxx show (that one when Zero Hour played there). Nothing like spinning out on I-95 in a sudden downpour doing nearly 70 miles per hour. Luckily I did come out of it uninjured, but with nearly $12,000 worth of damage to a practically brand-new car. But, it shudders me to think how much worse that could've turned out - it was only months later that a local deputy sheriff was killed in nearly the exact same spot when he was rushing to a scene of an accident further down I-95 in a rain storm, only to also spin out in nearly the same manner that I did. But I digress....

Again, my most sincere, heartfelt condolences to Greg's friends and family. May our brother in metal rest in peace.
