greg's idea of a WILD night of partying

science and nature (green) was always my best category in the old-school trivial pursuit.

in this book lovers' one, i managed to get everyone to agree to play the weekend i got it, and my first question was some fucking thing like WHAT ALL STAR PITCHER WROTE A BOOK ENTITLED "IN YOUR FACE" IN 1989 blah blah blah. the book lovers' questions are really well-dispersed throughout popular culture.

amanda, you very well might beat me--i probably get 2 or 3 out of 5 right.

i am pretty awesome at "trivial pursuit 90s edition"--but so are my roommates. it's funny; we played it the week after that fabled book lovers' trivial pursuit, and everyone was commenting how easy 90s edition is--EVERYONE was getting streaks of 3-6 or 7 right in a row!

about a week later, on the T, i heard two BC girl types talking about trivial pursuit 90s edition and they were like "omg! so hard! omg!"

i wanna go on jeopardy and win a few hundred thousand dollars but i suspect i'll totally buckle and miss easy questions and be a laughingstock of everyone i know for all time.

a friend's girlfriend went on and the final jeopardy question was something like 'what american airplane and aerospace manufacturer is headquartered in chicago and also performs defence contracting?'

and since like 11 of her family members work for boeing they were all going YES! YES! AMY WON!!!!!!!!

and alex trebek reveals the final answers and she had written, like, "lockheed martin" and lost all her money.
