GRIM REAPER live in Montreal, Canada for the 1st time in 27 years!!

Setlist of the 1st night of the US tour, in New York yesterday. I can't complain at all. But what is that "From Hell" song? It's not on the 3 Grim Reaper discs, nor on any Lionsheart album, nor on the Steve Grimmett solo disc if I'm not mistaken.

Rock You To Hell
Night of the Vampire
Lust For Freedom
Wrath of the Ripper
Now or Never
Fear No Evil
Liar
From Hell
Never Coming Back
Lay It on the Line
Rock Me Til I Die
Matter of Time
Don't Talk to Strangers (Dio cover)
Waysted Love

Encore:
Final Scream
See You in Hell

Guessing its a new tune from the forthcoming album. Would love to hear 911 live. Metal in Montreal. Nothing is better.

It is a brand new song. Actually it was written way back in the 80's but they revamped it and are putting it on their new CD. Grimmett was on a radio show and was talking about it.

Official schedule puts Grim Reaper on stage from 10:30PM-Midnight.

Someone is blasting Kung Fu Fighting I think from St. Catherine's Street. Sounds like a parade.

Hope the rain ends before tonight's show. At PP, I would have loved the rain. Hate paying a coat check fee for a brolly. Never been to Katacombes before. Only, FF, Club Soda & BC.

Feeling brave. I might just check out the opening bands.

From what I have heard the shows are selling really good.

Back at hotel. Amazing show. Montreal audience really makes the magic happen. Great performances all around. Caught SG napping during the openers  But they didn't suck. Bought a SGGr shirt and Midnight Malice cd for $30 total. No Labrekk  :Saint:

Shook SG's hand before I left Katacombes :kickass:

Great show indeed. Midnight Malice kicked some serious ass. Great old-school stuff done by youngsters. Grim Reaper ruled and Grimmett still have the pipes. Too bad Nick Bowcott had to step out of the tour because of a hand injury though. Would have loved to see a dual-axe attack. It was great hearing all these songs of my youth live for the very first time.

It was my first time at this venue. Cool small place despite the small stage. It was quite crowded, I'd say 150-200?

Too bad I didn't see you. Too many guys wearing jeans and black t-shirts I guess :muahaha:

Chatted a bit with guitarist Ian Nash and he confirmed a new Grim Reaper album and also a new Tainted Nation disc. Great news!

I was up in the balcony past the pinball machine. Talked Y&T with a few people as I was sporting the 40 years shirt. Saw Raven, Razor etc shirts. Even a Sortilege patch  Really liked the laid back atmosphere of the club.

I'd love to see Grave Digger there. Especially with all those skulls & skeletons about.

I never made it to the balcony. I was at the right side of the stage, just by the little stairs, headbanging like crazy all show long, with 2 of my buddies, with my red-and-black soccer WOLF t-shirt.

Grave Digger would indeed be great there, as would be Wolf and lots of others.
