GRIM REAPER or LIONHEART

But are you talking about...

... LIONHEART: The band with Dennis Stratton (Iron Maiden, Praying Mantis) on it that released just one album?

... or LIONSHEART: The band with Steve Grimmett from Grim Reaper on vocals?

If LIONHEART: An underrated and quite unknown band nowadays but "Hot tonight" is an amazing record in my opinion. When guitar are heavy enough they sound like second or third NWOBHM generation. However, the essence of the album is hard AOR more or less like masterpiece Shy´s "Excess all areas" (though not so overwhelming and not so high pitched vocals)

If LIONSHEART: Mmm... I don´t consider they´re heavy influenced by NWOBHM. Maybe a little bit but overall they´re a classic british hard rock act in the vein of Whitesnake. It´s a good bad, specially their first two records, "Lionsheart" and "Pride in the act" with an excellent singer.

Thanks for the info,Grimmett's band is pretty good but I wasn't able to find Seven Deadly Sins on youtube.Do you know what label that is on.
I'm guessing this later project would probably be a bit on the heavier side.

ONSLAUGHT was pretty good too with Grimmet on vocals. In Search of Sanity is the album I have with a cover of AC/DC's "Let There Be Rock". Had a couple of the EP's too that had them doing covers of songs by ANGELWITCH, VAN HALEN, etc. Sort of a GRIM REAPER meets METALLICA/ANTHRAX type of sound.

Lionsheart played melodic hard rock that I like. They have two major hits, "Can't Believe" and "Portrait" from their first, self titled album.

But I prefer Grim Reaper, for sure. :D
