Thanks man. :)

Theres no way I'd want to get them all at once. At the most I'd buy two at a time. I really enjoyed letting each album sink in, then I'd be excited to go to the store, buy, and enjoy another brilliant album.

Well, I can take one each week and listen to it, right now it's Ghost Reveries.

I still don't have them all, as much as I have been meaning to. I have Morningrise, MAYH (candle tin version), Blackwater Park, Damnation and Lamentations. the rest are downloaded or burnt. Most placed around here don't keep the albums in for long once I save the cash for Orchid (i've wanted that and Still Life for ages), I go to get it and it's gone!

I think getting them all at once is silly. You wouldn't know where to start.

To the threadstarter, I probably wouldn't go and get every album straight away, I mean Opeth are brilliant, and you will love those cds, but I think that would kinda take away the fun of getting the albums, like you have nothing left to look forward to with Opeth anymore, except for the release of a new record. I don't know, do what you want, I'm just saying I wouldn't have done it that way.

This also reminds me, I really should get around to ordering the "Lamentations" DVD.

Hmmm...not necessarily. It'll take a months of listening to each album to fully digest the true majesty! I've had GR for a couple of months and am still on the first 3 songs as far as really having gotten to know them...
So, it just seems like 2006 for you will be 'The Year of Opeth'! :)

I still need to get Lamentations (:dopey: )but I'm f'in broke!

Which brings me to wondering....so just how many of you have downloaded their albums if you're just barely getting the real copies now?
I have to commend you for actually going out and buying them though...there's a lot of people who don't do that and just keep the d/led version.
