Guitar click track bleed

When recording guitar straight to my interface and then using an amp sim I get a lot of click track in the guitar track. Will a DI fix the problem?

no, that's most likely your pickups being microphonic.
use headphones to record

Depends. Some interfaces hiz input works with some pickups and won't be as noticeable, others night and day.

I use maudio's fast track pro with passive pickups. any idea about that?

i just wanted to ask you if you use a m-audio fast track...
i had a fast track (not the pro) a couple years ago. the first version had massive problems with internal crosstalk (click-track/output bleeded into the inputs) , so i threw the interface in the garbage (m-audio told me this is a known problem, i should buy the new version). the fast track pro probably has the same problems?
