And I am good at everything in rock band (I'll do expert on anything).

The biggest joke is the vocals though, you can still be a bit pitchy and pass. If I'm singing on expert, it would be nice if the game was a little more anal about note intonation.

Yeah the vibrato. When you wail on the whammy bar you get more star power, it's not there to sound good, it's there to help you get teh pointz.

The vibrato was modeled after Kirk Hammett's vibrato

I also don't understand why musicians love to hate a game that means income and new fans for musicians.

My roomate's g/f just bought it today... we just spent like 4 hours playing it... she's STILL playing it and was playing it for about and hour before I joined in...

She's addicted to these games... funny, because her boyfriend (my roommate) is a drummer, I play guitar primarily and slay this game stoopid, and our other roommate is a bassist... i think she just feels left out of the musicness in the house...

Game is still fun in little bursts...
