Guitar Impulses!!!???

Im searching guitarhack´s impulse responses! i googled to death and also checked the links, that are listet in this forum - but they all seemed to be not longer up to date.

if theres no link you know abaut, i would be very thankfull if someone could send me the impulse responses by mail.

is it the best way for me to go out of my engl savage (di out) or use a plug in like guitar rig 3?

I'd say the Savage would sound better than guitar rig 3. Just be sure to use a line-in and not an instrument in...or you'll BBQ something.

i use sir 2 to give the signal the impulse response...till no i´ve put my guitar in my tascam us-122l an then into guitar rig.

i didn´t tried to use my engl instead of guitar rig and dont know if its better to use an amp

Your engl savage into your mixer then into sir 2 will sound infinitely better than guitar rig.

If you don't have a speaker load then keep your cab plugged in and you'll be fine.

This exactly what I do, sounds great on MANY different cab impulse samples...I like GR3, but it doesn't compare to the good raw tone you'll get using the DI line in...

Forgot to mention this, the Savage 120's preamp continues to work when its on STANDBY, so you don't even have to have your cab plugged in, it will send preamp DI out! Silent recording FTW!
