Can anyone help with what is going on in the clip below? I'm referring to the scratching noise when I palm mute the Low E (D in this clip) and also the noise in between stabs that sounds like something resonating then being cut off by a gate? It's not sympathetic vibrations from the strings at the nut as I have it muted up there. Wonder if the resonance is the optical cables dying on me.
