Yea the crashes weren't major, just annoying after a long songwriting session..
so, whats new in it?

Is there or will there be a way to use a midi controller to record notations into guitar pro? For example, programming a basic drum beat (kick and snare).
It would be much quicker to run through instead of point-clicking-typing kicks and snares and cymbal crashes here and there; I don't mind it that much but
using a midi controller would be nice. Quantizing (with parameter settings) the incoming midi notes would probably be useful too.
Is there a program out there that is like this already?
I write EVERYTHING in Guitar Pro. I have like 300 files with ideas/song. I would be lost without it. It's really easy to use.
This. Guitar pro is the bee's knees. Every song I've ever written except 2 have started in guitar pro.Yup I'm on the same page, I still have complete songs and ideas for my old defunct bands here in my pc. It's really satisfying when a midi track you have in your pc becomes a real recorded or performed live song some day
I remember when I first found guitar pro. icame. I used to buy music books. It saved me this cost, and also the whole thing is so damn intuitive and probably responsible for getting me as far as I have on the guitar without actually ever taking a "guitar lesson".
GP is a great tool!
I use it in my "band" too. (I compose the music and the other guys have to learn it note for note).![]()
