FYI also for potential voters to read - do not make multiple accounts to be able to vote more than once etc. - your votes will be disqualified. Same for posting on other sites saying "just go vote for me" etc.

Haven't seen any issues yet, but just posting due to past issues with voting competitions like this.

81 - honky
82 has louder drums?!
83 - a bit boxy but seems slightly better otherwise
84 - too much 480hz stuff

82 has louder drums?!

It certainly does seem like so. I just checked the screenshot, and it has the drums and master bus at zero with no processing, but I'll double check it, just a moment.

edit: you are right, when I put the mixdown on mute so I hear the drums + guitars and then compare by pressing solo on the mixdown the drums are louder. I'll bounce a version where the drums are at normal volume. My guess is that it has something to do with pan law (-3dB versus 0dB)

edit: fixed 82 is here, alternatively you can turn down the 82 by 3.86dB if you think I did bad volume matching

To some people perhaps  Doesn't matter to me, just thought I'd tell you.

I liked 82 but it was really loud, and after comparing it at lower volume I chose 84. I feel it needs a few cuts because it's a little cloudy but I like it overall.

81 here though it was a bit on the thinish side. Best group though, found it hard to choose. Some of the other ones in this group had good rhythm tones but sounded like they didn't bother at all with the leads, could barely hear them in 83.

My comments on these: This was the hardest batch for me, really good tones here

81: Very nicely balanced, I like it a lot
82: Otherwise really good except the bass is maybe just a tad too plucky sounding
83: The leads are a bit buried, but the rhythm tone works really well on the chords
84: I voted for this, I was balancing between this and 82. Has one of the best sounding rhythm chord sound from all the tones.

81: I like the overall sound and vibe here, nice leads. These gave me the benefit of the doubt.

82: Good mix and full sound, maybe a bit more up-front leads would be nicer.

83: Rhythm guitars take a little time to get used to, but nice and full sounding. Maybe a little bit too loud in the mix though, the leads have a hard time piercing through.

84: I like this nice and bright mix, the kind that gets better after listening a few times.

Ok, I voted for all rounds. In this one I had a hard time picking between 81 and 82. I listened al mixes carefully, but in a relatively short time. Maybe when I listened more to certain mixes, other winners would come out. Still, I chose to do it the "quick way" in one session, seems most fair to me. I took part in the competition myself, but didn't vote for my own mix (not my style), but I also have to be very honest (without being arrogant, at least I hope) that I might have chosen my own mix (although it would've been a close call). There's probably a reason for that, because I made it sound like that in the first place? Well, even if I chose it, all fair and square because it very likely won't win anyways. :) It was fun to do and good for learning too I think. I will vote for the finals too as well, of course. Thanks for the effort ahjteam (and of course the others who contributed/helped)!
