Guitarist's Grimoire

I have heard alot about this book, and I was wondering if you guys had heard of it or knew anything about it. I know it's not just a bunch of scales and stuff, I can get that off the net somewhere and play scales all day. I heard it that it was kinda geared towards theory a little bit. Any comments?

I heard of that from a long time ago. It's like an entire series of books that concentrate soley on theory in different areas ie.. progressions and improvisations, chord structure and voicings. They arent too bad if your into that kind of thing and learning theory
